Flew across the ocean, arrived at J.F.K.

Didn’t have the paperwork, but chanced it anyway

Made it past the INS new life here to begin

Made it to America, in like Flynn

Always had a passion to live my life in full

Jump at a chance, take a stance now and then I've won

More often something happens, to keep me from the win

And then before you know it, in like Flynn

Lived in many places, some I still hold dear

My time in Indiana, a bloody vintage year

Worked along the highways, drank whiskey, beer and gin

Paid the price for the vice, to be in like Flynn

Sitting contemplating the rocky road so far

All the rotten days I had no money for a jar

Ain’t no use complaining, for I never will give in

I choose this path to follow, to be in like Flynn

In Like Flynn
